About Us

Welcome to the new C.O. Trading website (01.09.2014)

The company was started in 2001 by Christo Odendaal. Before that, he was M.D. of Fabric Décor who was primarily a vertical blind manufacturer. At the time of leaving the company, they were the biggest and the best in the industry.

After departing from that business he concentrated on his strengths and started trading not only with local industries but export industries as well. Currently, locally C.O. Trading is supplying the top 10 biggest companies in South Africa with its own fabrics and components. These fabrics and components are manufactured locally and internationally.

Furthermore, C.O.Trading supplies 69 companies in 9 different countries in Africa. Most of these companies were personally set up by Mr Odendaal from 2001 onwards. Soon carpets were introduced. This went slow in the beginning but has picked up very well in time. The African clients now have the opportunity to break up their orders into various products when doing a container, a part shipment or an airfreight order. This gives the client better service and it means not tying up all the funds by having to buy maximum quantities.
